We’re a small family business supporting our homeschooled family of 5 kids, and every call you make helps support our home- not a corporate office.
Committed to providing honest, reliable service with a personal touch — we're just good people helping good neighbors stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

How We Began
​Our company story is rooted in hands-on experience — John went from working on small engines since childhood, to a certified auto mechanic, and now has become a licensed HVAC contractor. Now, with the same passion and dedication, he's bringing comfort to homes and families across South Alabama.

We both graduated Coastal Alabama Community College Summa Cum Laude. We each earned our Associate’s Degrees in HVAC and became members of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. John was also honored as the Most Outstanding HVAC Student by the end of his first semester. After graduation, he was even offered a teaching position at Coastal, but chose to focus on building the business with his family.​​

Southern Comfort Heating and Air is rooted in a determination to build a legitimate, lasting business that uplifts our family and serves the people around us. We are working hard not just to grow our company, but to become a trusted part of the local community. Whether it’s helping a neighbor in need, supporting local causes, or offering flexible services for working families—we’re here to give back however we can.
